We examine macroeconomic regimes, financial markets and structural changes that affect how capital is valued, allocated and exposed to risk. Our work is grounded in primary evidence, historical comparison and an explicit account of the conditions under which our conclusions would change.

We work with a limited number of founders, families and investors to examine questions of capital structure, concentration, liquidity, currency exposure and allocation. Each engagement begins with the circumstances of the capital itself: how it is held, where it is exposed and what assumptions underpin its present structure.
